Mad Catz Gaming Mice
Mad Catz was founded in 1989, and since then has been creating game controllers for a wide selection of gaming platforms, from 2001’s release of the Xbox, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, and PlayStation 2. In 2008, Mad Catz was commissioned by Capcom to produce controllers for the Street Fighter IV fighting game, and the success of the FightSticks and FightPads spurred Mad Catz to get involved with the pro-gaming community, with the release of licensed controllers for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2009.
Known for its weird, unique, and cyborg inspired designs, Mad Catz released its R.A.T line-up of gaming mouse for the PC gaming community, starting with the R.A.T. 3 that offered a sleek design, advanced form factor, and programmable action buttons. This was soon followed by the R.A.T. 5, R.A.T. M wireless mouse, R.A.T. 7, R.A.T. 9 and the R.A.T. TE (Tournament Edition) gaming mouse. Aside from gaming mouse and game controllers, the company also offers its Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. gaming keyboard and the Mad Catz G.L.I.D.E. surface gaming pads and the F.R.E.Q. line of gaming headsets.
